Thanks to increased awareness of plastic pollution, we know that we need to find alternatives to single use disposable plastics. Finding convenient, affordable alternatives can be difficult though; making it harder for us to make the switch.

Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

Our product range
We supply everything you need to run your food or catering business, or for entertaining at home. Whether you’re looking for eco friendly paper cups, cold cups, pizza boxes or deli pots, our products are 100% compostable or biodegradable and made from renewable resources.
We understand that cost is very important, especially if you are buying catering supplies for your business. It is our aim to provide affordable alternatives to single use plastics and as such you’ll find our prices can be comparable to the products you use now. In addition, we don’t set a minimum order value so if you want to order biodegradable cups in bulk that’s fine, but we also accept small orders too. This makes it easier to order in realistic quantities, whether you are a wholesale or retail customer.
Last and by no means least, our products are available for convenient delivery direct to your door through our range of cost-effective delivery options, including next day delivery if required.
Compostable or biodegradable - how our products should be recycled
Our eco friendly disposable cups and catering supplies are either compostable or biodegradable. Compostable products can be recycled in two ways: by your local council in a special industrial composter with other food waste, or in your compost bin at home. Biodegradable products can be disposed of by some local councils in special industrial composters, however this facility isn’t currently available in all areas so you’ll need to check the situation where you live.
Please note that although many of our products might look like plastic cups or plates, for example, they shouldn’t be recycled with other plastic recycling and must be composted or biodegraded instead.
