Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective range of high quality, alternative products.

Our product range
We supply a wide range of products, ideal for use by catering businesses, coffee shops and takeaways or for entertaining at home. From paper coffee cups for hot drinks, through to double walled cups, cutlery, food boxes and wrap, our products are all recyclable and affordable.
Why make the switch?
Plastic pollution is now one of the most urgent environmental issues as the rapid increase in the production of disposable, single use plastic products engulfs our ability to deal with them. With this in mind, it’s staggering to think that plastic can take up to 400 years to break down and that most of the plastic ever manufactured still exists in some form.
What can be done? Here at Single Use Alternatives we believe that by working towards the five r’s of recycling: ‘refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle’ we can make a difference. However, we also know that two of the main barriers which prevent many of us from making the switch to plastic alternatives are cost and convenience.
Our product range has been carefully chosen to provide a wide selection of practical, affordable products which are designed to offer realistic alternatives to single use plastics. Ideal for serving and selling food and drinks, our products are ideal for use in cafes, coffee shops, catering business or at home.
We don’t set a minimum order value so you’ll have the option to order 100 compostable paper cups or 1000s - the choice is yours. We offer a range of cost-effective, convenient delivery options (including next day delivery) and our mobile-friendly website is user-friendly and secure.
How our products should be recycled
We aim to make recycling coffee cups as straightforward as possible so our products are either compostable or biodegradable. Compostable products can either be recycled with other compostable waste by your local council, or in your home compost bin. Biodegradable products can also be recycled by some local councils in special industrial composters, however at present this facility isn’t available throughout the UK.
