Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

Our mission
Alongside our mission to provide affordable sustainable alternatives to single use plastics, we also aim to provide information on how we can all reduce our impact on the environment. Although reducing our use of single use plastics might seem like a small step to take, if we all make changes now, it will result in a significant difference for future generations.
So, what can be done? You’ve probably heard of the five R’s of recycling: ‘refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle.’ An important first step to take is to minimise our use of disposables by thinking about what can be used in their place, whilst considering whether items can be reused, or disposed of in a sustainable way by composting or recycling.
However, we do understand the importance and convenience of disposables, particularly when it comes to the products used by catering businesses. As a result, we aim to encourage businesses and individuals to make the move towards sustainable alternatives by making these products as affordable and convenient to buy as possible. We know that we won’t change the world overnight but we hope that we’ll make it easier for you to make the more ethical choice.
