Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

How to recycle Vegware hot cups
Although many Vegware products might look like plastic they are entirely plastic free. As such, they shouldn’t be recycled with other plastic waste but disposed of by composting. Compostable disposables such as Vegware hot cups and all other Vegware products, are designed to be recycled by your local council in an industrial composting facility along with food waste. This helps to make Vegware incredibly convenient to use, as there’s no need for sorting as the entire pot, cup or box can be composted together, without having to remove any leftover food waste.
When composted in an industrial composting facility, Vegware products take up to 90 days to fully degrade. However, although Vegware items can be recycled in your garden compost bin, the process will take longer as it depends on environmental conditions and the method you use.
