Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

We know that increasing numbers of businesses are looking to reduce their carbon footprint, by making the switch from single use plastic catering disposables to plant-based, eco-friendly alternatives. However, we also understand that although sustainable alternatives to plastics are available, they have tended to historically be expensive and difficult to source in realistic quantities.
You’ll find that our products are affordable, with savings of up to 20% on wholesale prices. In addition, we don’t set a minimum order value so you’ll be able to order in quantities which are right for you: whether you need 100 vegware cups or 1000s. How to recycle Vegware cups
The products we sell are either compostable or biodegradable. Compostable products such as vegware, should be disposed of with other composting waste for collection by your local council. When these products are industrially composted, it takes up to 90 days for them to fully degrade. However, when composted at home the process will take longer as it depends on environmental conditions and the method you use.
Biodegradable products must be recycled in a special industrial composting facility. This type of facility isn’t currently available in all areas of the UK, so please check the situation where you live first.
