The Plastic Decomposition Timeline

Here at Single Use Alternatives, we think a lot about the effect the plastics the world is continually manufacturing have on the planet, and how we can come up with better alternatives.

And why? Well, because the majority of plastics which just get disposed of into the natural environment can take hundreds of years to decompose.

Take a step back into history below, and see when you would have had to dispose of your plastic in the natural environment for it to be completely decomposed by now.

Then have a think about just how long the plastic you've thrown away TODAY will be around for!
