How our products are recycled
At present there are regional variations in local recycling schemes which can make recycling difficult and complicated. We are currently working with local councils, suppliers and manufacturers in an effort to simplify the system and our products are clearly labelled so you’ll know how to dispose of them correctly.
Our products are compostable and biodegradable which means that they shouldn't be recycled with other plastic waste. Instead they should be disposed off with other compostable waste and degraded by your local council in an industrial composter, where the process takes around 90 days. Not all local councils accept biodegradable waste though and it’s important to check the situation in your local area first.
You also have the option to compost our products in your compost bin at home but please note that the process will take longer as it depends on the method you use and conditions. By providing as much information as we can on recycling, it’s our goal to make successful recycling as easy as possible whilst improving consistency from area to area.
