How our products are recycled
Our products should be disposed of either by composting or biodegrading. At present there are variations in the recycling facilities offered by local councils so you’ll need to check the situation in your local area. However, this is something we’re working hard to address and are currently working with suppliers and local councils to simplify the system and make recycling as straightforward as possible. Here are ten reasons why we think compostables are better!
All of our products are clearly labelled as being either biodegradable or compostable. Compostable and biodegradable products can be recycled by your local council in an industrial composter but this isn’t currently available for biodegradable products in all areas. Compostable products can also be composted at home but the process will take longer and depends on conditions and the method you use. It’s also important to note that although many of our products look and feel exactly like plastic, they shouldn’t be disposed of with other plastic recycling waste.
