Products made from renewable sources
Because our products are made from 100% renewable sources, they mustn’t be included with plastic recycling waste. Instead, our products are either 100% compostable or biodegradable.
Compostable items are suitable for inclusion in compostable collections in local food waste, check locally. Alternatively, compostable items are also suitable for home composting, however, please note that the process takes longer, depending on environmental conditions and the method you use.
Biodegradable items need to be processed in spencial industrial composting facilities if they are to fully degrade in a timely manner. At present, this type of facility isn’t available in all areas of the UK. We suggest you check the situation where you live first.
