Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

As we become increasingly aware of the problems caused by plastic pollution and the importance of ‘refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle,’ more of us are looking for ways to reduce our reliance upon single use, disposable plastics. Compostable bags can be recycled by your local council in an industrial composting facility with other food waste, or in your compost bin at home. Biodegradable plastic sandwich bags can be recycled by some local councils in special industrial composting facilities, however this service isn’t available in all areas so it’s best to check the situation in your area first.
