Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

Products made from plants not plastic
Our website has over 400 products made from plant based materials rather than harmful plastics which are oil based (and drive climate change). Ideal for use in takeaways, cafes, coffee shops, outside events and catering businesses, our dedicated range includes everything you need for takeaway food, drinks or fresh produce.
You’ll find that our products are just as durable and practical as plastic disposables, including cups, lids, stirrers and straws, along with takeaway food packaging such as trays, pots, boxes, labels and wrap. The difference is that our products are made from 100% recyclable, renewable sources such as sugar cane or corn starch.
It’s important to note that although many of our products might look and feel like plastic, they mustn’t be disposed of with other plastic recycling waste. Instead, our products are either 100% compostable or biodegradable, offering eco-friendly alternatives to oil-based plastics.
