Our range of recycled packaging
From recycled paper bags and pizza boxes, through to coffee cups, plates and presentation boxes for cakes, we supply a wide range of products designed to serve and package food and drink. There’s a misconception that eco friendly food packaging is more expensive than the plastic equivalents; however this is not the case. Our prices can be comparable to other products, helping you protect your pocket and the environment.
Ordering from us is easy and whether you’re a wholesale or retail customer we don’t set a minimum order value. You have the option to order what you need, whether that’s 100s or 1000s, with a range of cost-effective delivery options, including next-day delivery if required. Why are we doing this?
The problem of plastic pollution is rarely out of the news these days. When you consider that the majority of the plastic that’s ever been produced still exists in some form, something has to be done. However, because affordable and practical alternatives to single use plastics can be difficult to find, we wanted to do something to help consumers make the switch.
We understand that many catering businesses, coffee shops and takeaways rely upon a convenient source of cheap disposable plastic products such as cups, cutlery and straws. Our product range has been carefully developed to provide viable alternatives, available at comparable prices for convenient doorstep delivery. Although we’re not going to change the world overnight, we’re hoping that by supplying a choice of affordable alternatives, we’re making it easier for you to ‘Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle.’
How our products can be recycled
Many of our products look and feel exactly like their plastic counterparts but they need to be recycled in a different way and shouldn’t be disposed of with other plastic recycling. Our products are categorised into two main recycling types: compostable and biodegradable.
Compostable products can either be recycled by your local council with food waste. Local councils use industrial composters to do this and when composted in this way, the process will take under 90 days. It is also possible to compost these products in your compost bin at home but please note that the process will take longer as it depends on environmental conditions and the method you use.
Biodegradable products can be recycled by some councils in special industrial composters but this is not available in all areas so please check the situation in your local area first.
