Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.
To find out more about our products simply browse through our website. If you have any questions we’d love to hear from you: please complete the enquiry form on our contact page.
Sustainable alternatives to single use plastics
Our products are ideal for use by catering businesses, takeaways, shops and cafes, or at home. From eco cellulose bags and produce bags, through to paper counter bags, boxes and food containers, you’ll find our products are affordable and available to order for direct delivery to your business or home address.
We believe that making the move to sustainable alternatives to plastics doesn’t mean that you should have to compromise on quality. With this in mind, our products are durable, practical and attractive, whilst also being entirely free from plastic. SOS eco cellulose bags, for example, offer a great way to package everything from sweets and wedding favours, through to gifts, soaps, candles and more. We also supply a range of produce bags which are ideal for packaging a wider range of food items; including sandwiches, cakes, food on the go or fresh produce.
When buying our confectionery bags wholesale, not only will you be doing your bit for the planet, you’ll also help to protect your profits too! Our products are competitively priced and can be at a comparable cost to plastics, providing you with an affordable, sustainable way to display, package and serve your products.
To make it even easier to switch to sustainable alternatives, we offer a range of cost-effective delivery options and no minimum order value, with next day delivery if required. In addition, you’ll find our secure, mobile-friendly website is easy to use.
How to recycle our products
Our products are either fully compostable or biodegradable. Compostable products can either be disposed of in your compost bin at home or by your local council with other food waste. Biodegradable products should be disposed of in special industrial composting facilities; however this service isn’t yet offered by all local councils so please check the situation in your area.
