How to order

Recycling

Although many of our products look almost identical to plastic they are made from sustainable materials such as bagasse or PLA. This means that they shouldn’t be disposed of with other plastic recycling but should be composted or biodegraded instead.

Our products are clearly labelled so you’ll know how to recycle them; compostable products can be either composted by your local council in an industrial composter or in your compost bin at home. Please note that industrial composting takes around 90 days but the process will take longer at home as it depends on the type of compost bin you have and the method you use. Biodegradable products can also be composted in special industrial composters but at present this isn’t offered in all regions - please check the situation in your area.
