Catering supplies made from plants not plastic
Because our products are made from renewable sources, they mustn’t be disposed of with other plastic recycling waste. Instead, the products we supply are either 100% biodegradable or compostable.
For compostable items, we suggest you check locally for compostable collections in local food waste. Alternatively, these items are also suitable for home composting. However, it’s important to note that home composting takes longer than industrial composting, with the length of time dependent on environmental conditions and the method you use.
Biodegradable items require special industrial composting facilities if they are to fully degrade in a timely manner. At present, this type of facility isn’t available in all areas of the UK, so please check the situation where you live first.
