Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

We offer a huge range of eco friendly sandwich containers, from baguette boxes, clear window deep fill sandwich wedges, large sandwich platter trays made from renewable sugarcane pulp, through to wrap scoops, hot sandwich pockets and square cut sandwich packs with clear windows.

The Biodegradable Sandwich Platter
For larger events and to feed more people, we offer a large sandwich platter which is made from Sugarcane pulp (known as bagasse). This packaging is very versatile, and it uses a by-product of the sugar industry; the stalk residue that’s left over when the sugar has been extracted from the cane. The Bagasse is converted into an easily moulded raw material for packaging.
This versatile material is suitable for a wide range of hot, cold, solid and liquid products and is home and commercially compostable.
