Who we are
Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Concerned about the impact single use plastics are having upon the environment, we decided to offer a range of cost effective high quality, alternative products.

Products made from renewable sources
The items we sell are made from renewable sources which means they are either fully compostable or biodegradable.
Compostable items are suitable for collection with local food waste, check locally. Alternatively, compostable items can be added to your garden compost bin, but please note that it will take longer for items to fully degrade as the process depends on environmental conditions and the method you choose.
Biodegradable items must be processed in special industrial composting facilities if they are to degrade in a timely manner. However, at present this type of facility isn’t available in all areas of the UK, so please check the situation where you live first.
