How to recycle our products
Our products are biodegradable or compostable and are clearly labelled so you’ll know how to recycle them. Compostable products can be recycled by your local council in an industrial composter where the process will take around 90 days. It is also possible to dispose of compostable products in your garden compost bin, but the process will take longer and depends on conditions and the process you use.
Biodegradable products can also be disposed of in a special industrial composter, however this facility isn’t currently available in all areas so you’ll need to check the situation where you live. At present there are regional variations in local recycling facilities and this is something we aim to address by working closely with manufacturers, suppliers and local authorities. Many of our products look and feel exactly like plastic but they shouldn’t be disposed of with other plastic waste as mixing them together will impact upon the recycling process.
