Single Use Alternatives was founded by Adrian and Neil; two brothers who are passionate about enjoying the outdoors and caring for the environment. Our products are made from renewable sources and as such are either fully compostable or biodegradable. For compostable items, we suggest you check locally for compostables collection in local food waste. Alternatively, compostable items can be placed in your garden compost bin, but please note that it will take longer for them to fully degrade.
Biodegradable items require special industrial composting facilities if they are to fully degrade in a timely manner. At present, this type of facility isn’t available in all areas of the UK, so please check the situation in your area first.
