Product Description

Corn and yam are first made into flour and starch (hence the term starch-based bioplastics). Together with polypropylene (PP), pellets are formed before it is made into Origo. A good percentage (70%) of corn and yam starch blended with PP (30%) forms the basis of Origo. PP is added to ensure water-proofing and heat resistance. It also allows Origo to withstand high temperatures. PP is assimilated with the corn and yam starch and thus will fully biodegrade together with the corn and yam. After Cornware is used and discarded, and with the correct conditions (temperature, humidity and the presence of microbes), it will biodegrade after 90 days.

Shipping costs from just £3.49 plus VAT and is dependent upon the weight of your order. We thought this a fairer way, so you only pay for delivery of what you’ve ordered (and what it costs us).
Sadly, nothing is free, and others would include this delivery cost in all their prices, independent of what you’ve bought. Because it’s calculated by weight, you might be able to add a few lighter products to your order eg straws, stirrers and cutlery, for free delivery.

We use DPD and FDL as our logistics partners, so you’ll get a reliable and trackable service. Generally you’ll receive your order within 2-3 working days, but if you want guaranteed next day, place you order before noon and select next day at checkout. If, when your order is despatched, you aren’t going to be in you’ll be able to designate an alternative time/date/address/click and collect location, to suit your needs.
